polygenic

polygenic
Something that is controlled or caused by the action of many genes. Thus many of the major non-infectious diseases (for example arthritis, cardiovascular disease, asthma, diabetes) are likely to be caused by the interaction of many genes; no single gene mutation is responsible, rather the coincidence of polymorphic variants that together contribute risk factors that predispose an individual to the disease.
